Eco Schools

The Eco-Schools programme is an ideal way for schools to embark on a meaningful path towards improving the environmental footprint of a school, a change which inevitably leads to a more sustainable, less costly and more responsible school environment.

The programme provides a framework for learning and action around nine topics - biodiversity, energy, litter, global citizenship, healthy living, school grounds, transport, waste and water.

Schools progress through the bronze and silver awards and eventually gather evidence to gain their green flag.
